We have created an exciting five-course culinary experience, inspired by indigenous South African and consciously chosen Dutch ingredients. South Africa has 11 different cultures, all with their own food culture. We use South African ingredients to bring these cultures to the fore in our own culinary language

This includes an amuse and our famous spekbokking butter bread service. We suggest you choose our excellent wine pairing or non-alcoholic cocktails to complete the experience. Alternatively choose your own selection from our extensive wine list! You can also enjoy our bar bites menu before starting with the Spyskaart.

à la carte geregte

Don’t fancy a set menu? Why not choose your favourites from our bar bites and geregte and create your own SAAM experience. We serve these dishes in in two sizes; a smaller size which you can compare to an appetizer and a bigger one to a main course.

lunch

At lunch time we do things a little differently, we serve a 4-course menu designed by our chefs according to what our producers have available. Since this can change daily, the chefs will come and tell you all about it at your table. Don’t fancy a set menu? Why not choose your favourites from our bar bites and à la carte geregte.

Would you rather enjoy a quicker culinary lunch during your workday? Then our business lunch is just the thing! We serve a 3-course menu consisting of a starter, a 2nd course and a main course. Of course, we can add a dessert or cheese of your choice if you’d like. We serve this menu within the time frame you prefer!

SAAM restaurant is open from Tuesday till Saturday for dinner and from Wednesday till Saturday for lunch.
